Charles Hovenden (British national and resident) began his career as a private client
portfolio manager and equity research analyst at Rothschild Asset
Management Ltd., of which he later became an Assistant Director. From 1991 to 1995 he performed a similar role for Bank von
Ernst & Cie, a Swiss private bank which at the time was jointly
owned by Germany’s Bayerische Vereinsbank and Austria’s
Creditanstalt-Bankverein. He
joined the London branch of Dexia Banque Internationale a Luxembourg
as a Director in 1995 and established BILIAM Ltd., a Jersey-based
multi-manager investment management company. Charles Hovenden
graduated from Oxford University with a 1st class honours degree in Chemistry in 1984 and holds a
Diploma of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
Andrew
Wheeler (British national and resident) began his career as private
client portfolio manager at Robert Fleming & Co. From 1989 to 1995 he
performed a similar role for Bank von Ernst & Cie in London. He helped
establish BILIAM Ltd., a multi-manager investment management company, after
moving to Jersey in 1996. He returned to London in 2001 and joined
Deutsche Bank in a marketing role, before moving to the Family Investment
Office at Unigestion as an executive director. Andrew graduated from the
University of the South Bank, London having read Business Studies.

David Melnik (Canadian National and resident)
Mr. Melnik is a graduate of McMaster University, University of Toronto Faculty of Law, York University Faculty of Law and Harvard School of Business. In addition, he studied at the University of Geneva and London School of Economics. He practiced law as a barrister until he became president and chief executive office of Vanguard Trust of Canada in 1976. He served as a special advisor to Frank Miller when he was Treasurer of Ontario and later chaired Mr. Miller’s transition committee when he was elected Premier of Ontario. Mr. Melnik has been a lecturer in business and government at both the University of Toronto and York University and he was on the Board of Directors of the Marshall McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology at the University of Toronto.
In recent years, Mr. Melnik has continued to develop his consultancy practice, where he advises on strategic planning and mediation for international and national businesses both public and private.
